Albuquerque Jungian Reading & Study Group

This group has been ongoing, but there are a few spots for someone able to attend all six sessions. The Fall focus is “Dreams - how they enliven and expand our journey”. We will include readings from classical Jung, and some more contemporary Jungian theory. There will be opportunity for each group member to offer and work with their dreams.
Six 2-hour sessions, 7pm to 9pm. Fall dates: September 12th, October 10th, and November
14th. The group meets at Jane’s house.
Cost is $30.00 per session. 6 CEUs Fall series; 6 CEUs for Winter series.

Jane Penrod, APRN, is a clinical nurse specialist in psychiatry. She discovered Jung as she cared for the severally mentally ill on the streets of Baltimore in the 1980s. She eventually trained at the C.G. Jung Institute of New York, while she maintained a private practice in Baltimore, and worked as a psychotherapist for Johns Hopkins Hospital seeing medical students, residents and house staff. Her primary interests are the subtle interaction between psyche and soma, particularly in cases of trauma, severe depression, mood disorders, and psychosis.
